Jenny is a business affairs consultant with nearly 20 years’ experience in television production.

After starting her career in the BBC’s independent production unit for drama, she went on to work at Tiger Aspect for almost 11 years across a variety of genres, including drama, natural history, comedy, and animation, before specialising in factual and features.

In addition, Jenny worked for the Tiger US office during its set up period, and consequently has experience of negotiating with many of the US broadcasters.

After Tiger Aspect, Jenny worked for Rights.TV, a business affairs consultancy, for various clients including Arrow Media, Rough Cut, Outline and Raw, and subsequently completed a maternity cover as joint head of business affairs at Studio Lambert.

At Abbas Media Law, Jenny advises on a very wide range of business affairs and commercial matters, including underlying agreements such as book and format options, access agreements, presenter agreements and writer agreements, commissioning and financing agreements for television developments and productions, and distribution.  She has experience of negotiating with all manner of content commissioners including network broadcasters, US broadcasters, and SVOD content providers.

Jenny has a highly commercial outlook and aims to help get the deal done as quickly as possible while aiming for the best terms possible to the circumstances.
