Atlanta joined ABBAS in August 2021 and is a consultant within its TV legal & business affairs team. Atlanta has over 13 years’ experience in the sector having worked in private practice, for a major broadcaster and an OTT platform, both in Australia and the UK. She advises commissioners, producers, and sports, general media and entertainment companies across the full spectrum of media and entertainment production and distribution activities in both scripted and non-scripted formats.
Atlanta is experienced in providing commercial and legal advice in every step of the production and distribution process, from development to production (and co-production), financing, commissioning, talent contracting, sponsorship, distribution and sales, rights exploitation, clearances, broadcasting activities as well as industry regulation and compliance.
Atlanta also advises commissioners, media, sports and entertainment companies on their business activities and relationships, including new products and platforms (including policies, Ts&Cs and regulations), and third party deals and agreements in respect of company operations (for example marketing agreements, services agreements, consulting agreements, vendor agreements, and general operations contracts).
Atlanta is noted for her breadth of experience across the media, sports and entertainment industry.
